APRIL

Stefan Bremer repeats visit again this year. He will continue from last years interesting presentation on his impressive interpretations in black & white photography. So many people was impressed last year, we expect this year presentation to be as astonishing or even more.

MARCH

Oka Morikawa will be talking about wedding photography (http://www.okamorikawa.com/). He has been featured several times at Finlands most popular bridal magazines, Mennään Naimisiin! and Häät ja Juhlat. Also, Kodak ProPass Magazine regards him as, quote "Finland’s most esteemed wedding photographer", unquote.

FEBRUARY

Larisa Pelle will introduce us to the world of photojournalism. Larisa is a professional photojournalism based in Helsinki and she works among others for National Geographic Russia, Kumppani or Me Naiset.

JANUARY

Per Olof Jansson (Prolle), life-long amateur photographer who is in his nineties will show us some of his work.

FEBRUARY
In our February meeting we had the pleasure of learning about the reality of photojournalism by the one and only Martti Lintunen. Martti provided us with a very inspiring insight into this fascinating field of photography.

MARCH
Our distinguished guest speaker of the month was none other than Stefan Bremer, a Professor at the Helsinki University of industrial Arts and a prolific freelance photographer. He is best known for his seriers "Helsinki by Night", "Ecce Homo and "Man and Woman". Stefan is famous for his quest for extreme use of light and impressive interpretations in black & white photography.

APRIL
The topic of our April meeting was "Composition". Our talented guest speaker, Andrea Joki of www.ajatonjoki.com, discussed the aspects of composition and more specifically how these guidelines apply in photographing children.

MAY

In our May meeting we dove into the secrets of computer post-processing of photographs, led by our own Arno Enzerink, professional graphic designer. His experienced insight into the techniques of post-processing as used in professional applications proved to be very useful to anyone wanting to polish up their prints with Lightroom or Photoshop: pros, cons, do's and dont's - Thanks Arno!

SEP

The new season kick-off meeting was on Wednesday 2
September with plenty of ideas presented for the Autumn season: Flexaret Relay, Photoalphabet competition. No guest presenter at this meet but the main event was a relaxed showing of summer photos - including photos taken during the group trip to Utö in June!
