The Great Prize Competition

Year 2008 your prints have to be in Kameraseura by 18.00 on Friday the 7th of November.

This is the most valued competition in Kameraseura, arranged once a year, in memory of Olli E. Lampénin (1936).  If you win the prize thrice, you will become a Master of Kameraseura  (KSM) and you will receive a golden Master pin.

You have to take part in the competition with a collection of five prints.
The prints do not need to have a combining theme, but the collection will be judged as a whole, not as separate prints.

The prints in the competition have to be made by the photographer or printed according to the instructions given by the photographer.  You can compete with prints that have won in other internal competitions in Kameraseura. The name of the winner will be engraved in the Great Prize tray. Separate photos that are not in the winning collection, can also be rewarded.

The Board has to have three judges. If the Board thinks that even the best collection do not meet the given requirements, it can decide not to reward anyone with the Great Prize. In this case it has to be an unanimous decision. The competition obeys the normal Kameraseura rules.

The suggested size of a print is 30x40 cm. Maximum size 40 x 50 cm,  if you use passepartout or cartoon. If you use cardboard, capa or cartoon at the back of the photo, it should preferably be 1 mm or max. 2 mm thick.
